Kilpatrick Townsend’s Cybil G. Roehrenbeck Featured Panelist at American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Fall Forum

WASHINGTON, DC (September 9) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Cybil Roehrenbeck will serve as a featured panelist at the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Fall Forum. The forum will be held September 16 – 18, 2015 at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC.

Ms. Roehrenbeck will join other industry leaders in a session titled, “State Regulation: Changes Will Continue – How to Impact Change.” This session will identify the leading issues affecting states and suggest ways ATA members can help shape policy changes.
Topics will include: how medical boards, legislatures, Medicaid bureaus, and other governmental bodies are regulating the field of telemedicine; industry and consumer demand for reimbursement parity and licensing; and how state policies may have both positive and negative effects on telemedicine.

Ms. Roehrenbeck provides regulatory and government relations counsel on healthcare and technology issues. Focusing on emerging healthcare sectors, she counsels clients on federal legislative and regulatory opportunities in the areas of health information technology (including telehealth, electronic medical records, and mHealth), precision medicine/genomics, and innovative health care reimbursement and delivery models.
